It's been entirely too long since I last worked on this piece, and frankly I don't think I'm going to return to it, so I might as well post the remaining lineart to show you guys. This is Powerpuff Girl Z Blossum floating merrily on one of Bubbles' bubbles. Blossum was the first one I inked, so she's not quite as texturally rich as I would like her to be. Bubbles and the previous Buttercup one came out much nicer I think. I finished her bubble seat in Photoshop with a mouse since I had run out of paper, so that's why the bottom of the bubble looks crappy. In general I'm pleased with how these came out anyway. If anyone wants to color them be my guest, either steal this jpeg or ask me to send you a larger format file. Same goes for the Buttercup lineart and the Tokyo lineart I'm posting immediately after this.
I'd gladly color these, only my coloring skills are underdeveloped and I couldn't do them justice. I hope somebody does take the initiative, though, 'cause it would be a shame to let these excellent drawings go to waste.
I'd say if you're inspired to color something, just do it. It might turn out pretty nice, and if you're not satisfied with it you can just consider it practice. Pretty much everything I know about coloring I've learned in the last four years, mainly becuase Photoshop made it so much easier to color pictures. Before that I used only colored pencils.
If you change your mind and want a larger version just let me know and I'll prepare one for you. Anyway thanks for the comps!

"Is it redundant to put meatballs in a cheesesteak?" "Only if redundant means glorious."
I'd try to color it, but sadly my coloring skills are a bit lax, and I can't get my tablet to cooperate with my Mac at the moment, anyway. Of course, having Photoshop would help matters a bit as well...
Oh well. Maybe one day.
Bubbles' hair reminds me of soft-serve ice cream. Or curly fries.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Please FULL VIEW all these amazing pieces of ART. Visit the artists pages and give them a :+fav and your support. Thank you for taking the time........
