I still have a couple of request pieces left to do, but this one is a request from myself to myself.

Yeah, I got the DVD set the other day. The pilot episode still rawks.
It's amazing what they got away with on cartoons back then. Between this show and Batman TAS, you saw more gunfights and child endangerment than you could possibly imagine happening today on network television. This was before characters were simply "sent to another dimension" to explain the fact that their asses are getting murdered. It's fun to watch a children's cartoon where the words "murder" and "die" are used pretty frequently.

Taurus Bulba was a great bad guy to start the series off with. I wonder if anyone remembers in the later seasons when he comes back as a cyborg? That was a killer episode too, it may even have been the final episode, I don't know.

this was one of my favorite of the Disney afternoon shows. One of the manilest duck heroes in Purple. I loved the fact it kept the original characters from Duck Tales alive and running...

Yeah, but it had a good run. My friend tells me it actually ran for over ninety episodes, because it had the standard sixty ep. weekday run and an additional 30 ep. Saturday morning run. I wish they could go back and make some more direct-to-video movies or something though.
