I went through 10 pages of drawings in my sketchbook to finally arrive at a Leela drawing I was comfortable with. This is undoubtedly the hardest fanart I've ever made because it's so hard to make a one-eyed girl look good, short of just tracing a screen capture I suppose.
This is maybe more of a montage than an outright drawing. The only element I drew was Leela, the rest is type, NASA photos, and stuff from the show itself. Once I had it finished it sorta reminded me of an illustration from the Harlock Saga, though that wasn't intentional.
well, your efforts really paid off, this image is stylish and really gives the right sci-fi feeling.
well done.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Please FULL VIEW all these amazing pieces of ART. Visit the artists pages and give them a :+fav and your support. Thank you for taking the time........
