This is my submission to the 1-in-8 Speedsters Character design contest. As stated in the rules, the character types needed were:
KK: a 16 year old girl with brown hair and green eyes, strong and brave, fights breast cancer Alex: A white cat with magic powers Boy (unnamed): Harry Potter-esque kid who helps KK but secretly has a crush on her
The three characters comprise a race-car team, and they are dedicated to fighting breast cancer.
Here I have shown the team in their racing gear (the boy is wearing an ear piece as I imagine he'd be the radio guy), and in their normal clothes.
The Speedsters logo is copyrighted to them. The other logo is one of my own design as a suggestion for the race team's logo.
Thanks! Your designs look really good. I'm getting a little frustrated because I keep finding little important facts that weren't available to me when I started, like the fact that the cat had to be a certain breed. That's not mentioned anywhere in the rules, only in a comment buried several pages back.

I dig the girl's butterfly curlies, and the delicious 90s colour pallette. Huzzah!
