Tarot card number 1, the Magician. He reveals to the Fool the meaning behind the Pentacle (earthly strength, physicality), the Cup (container of emotions), the Sword (courage, I think), and the Wand (penetrating inquisitiveness, I believe). I might be off on some of these meaning, you're free to look them up on your own. What's great about the Tarot is that, aside from being a divination tool, it plays out like a grand quest in which every card is a step along the Fool's path toward ultimate enlightenment. It's all based off the ancient knowledge cultures of the gnostics and the alchemists, whose sole quest was the metaphysical understanding of man with himself and within the context of the world around him.
